I have been making international calls to Asia using phone cards for the last few years but have found it to be rather expensive. At the same time there is also a time limit as to when the card will expired. Recently, I came across a very good and cheap way of making international call from the mobile phone. You just need to send a text message and your phone will automatically be credited with £3 worth calling credits. Any call made will have a 10p connection charges but this is negligible considering a lot of destinations just cost 1p/min. Furthermore, there is no expiry date to the credit, I find it extremely convenient and the quality of the line is very clear as ...  Read the complete review

I have been using 18866.com for six months now. They have the cheapest rates for international calls. Even phoning in the UK is cheaper than any other provider (10p to mobile Mon-Friday, 2p weekends). All you have to do is register on the website and give a credit card number. Invoice can be viewed online. The line is very clear to which ever country you dial. It?s the best rate you can find. I highly recommend them. Australia 1p per minute (land line), 15p mobile US/Canada 1p Mauritius 15p landline/mobile ...  Read the complete review

I used to use Alpha and then changed to Onetel, but now I use Bestnetsa.com. I searched high and low for the best solution and this is by far the cheapest way to make a call to any international destintation. Call examples include: Australia = 3.5p/minute New Zealand = 4.2p/minute South Africa = 8p/minute US = 3.4p/minute You can give it a try by going to their website at http://www.bestnetsa.com and if you can find a cheaper way of calling ...  Read the complete review

How many of you out there make foreign phone calls on a semi regular basis? Are you fed up with the amount of money that your normal phone provider is charging? I would imagine that if you stuck your hand up for the first question, then it should follow that you’re nodding away at the answer to the second question. Well, hopefully I have a solution, at least for those of you who make personal foreign phone calls (as opposed to business foreign phone calls, which I assume may be a totally different proposition). Lots of students are already aware of what I’m going to tell you, and it’s really quite easy. There are companies out there ...  Read the complete review
