Many electronic performers are regarded as uninteresting when they come to perform live. I have to agree that watching people pressing the space bar on a computer is rather tedious. But with Junkie XL the usual monotony of live electronica was blown, well and truly, away. He had just arrived on stage as I made my way into the dance tent, and within 30 secnds of gentle barging I was pounding my fists into the air at the front of the crowd. The ferocity of the music meant that the pogoing and air-punching didn't stop for about 30 minutes.
