Advantages: Plenty to see and do for all the Family

Disadvantages: Weather

Land's End (Cornish name: Penn an Wlas) is a headland on the Penwith peninsula, located near Penzance in Cornwall. It is the most westerly tip of the southern mainland.
And Lands End is such a treat for all the family.I have only visited once and I would love to go there again. There is so much to do and plenty of attractions. It is lovely in the summer, but obviously very cold in the winter.

The only downfall being, there is not much in the way of food and drink there. It would be nice if more was added. The walks are lovely as everywhere you look, there is some sort of attraction to look at,as it is all so close together. You can meet all the animals at the 200 year-old Greeb Farm where you are even able to get the chance to feed the animals.

They have a playzone for children.Play Zone is a fantastic play adventure centre, they offer many activities which are extremely safe and great fun. They include a soft adventure playground, which has a fantastic corkscrew slide or they can go for a tumble in the ball pools.
For the younger ones they offer a toddler area, which is equipped with a bouncy castle, small ball pool and toys to entertain them. While the parents can enjoy a free hot or cold drink in the fully licensed bar and cafe.

Land's End has 5 superb attractions that bring you tales of heroism, skulduggery and adventure.
There is stunning scenery to walk around and look at.The prices are great for so much to do.

More attractions include:

*Magic in the Skies and Ghost Walks*
Every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 29th July to 28th August 2008. There is fun and entertainment from 4pm. Fireworks at dusk. Or, join on a walk to try and find the legends, myths and ghosts of Land's End.

*West Country Shopping Village*
This is a village that's packed with something for everyone. Offering quality clothing, gifts, souvenirs and fashion jewellery.

when arriving, there is no need to pre book for the attractions.A parking charge of £3 (£4 on firework evenings, £5 on special event days) is the only fee charged to enter the Land's End site which will cover you for a full day out. The five attractions are entered on a 'Pay as you go' basis.
