Advantages: Suitable for all ages

Disadvantages: Attractions are closed in severe weather conditions

Lands End is probably the most well known attraction in Cornwall. Most people have heard of it from the walks and events from John O'groats to Lands end.
Situated at the most westerly point on the headland of the Penwith peninsulas in Cornwall ,thus the name Lands End.
The area is surrounded by the most spectacular views and scenery that is truly breathtaking.

There are various attractions with in the Lands End attraction. Including:-
The visitor Centre
Air Sea Motion Rescue Theatre
Return to the last Labrynth
The Doctor Who close up
The end to end story
Gweeb farm
The trawler
The Lifeboat
Play Area
Air Ambulance helicopter
Lands End hotel
Cornish Pantry
The old bake house
West country shopping village
First and Last house
Ice Cream parlour
First and Last Inn
The famous sign post.

As you can see there are lots of things to do at Lands End.

One of the most well known and popular attractions is the sign post that has the distances on to John O'grotes, New York and other locations.
You can have your photo taken by the famous sign post and they will also put your home town onto the signpost and the distance.

The current Doctor Who close up gives you a chance to get close to all things Doctor Who, the exhibition is full of all things that have actually been in the show and also costumes that famous people have worn on the show.

There are always new exhibitions at Lands End and the exhibitions that are already there are always being updated.

The Return to the Last Labrynth is the attraction I found the most enjoyable and interesting. The show is full of light shows and animated creatures telling the story of all the myths and legends that are associated with the peninsular.

The farm is full of adorable animals which you can get close to, this is an excellent attraction for the children as is the adventure playground.

The prices of the attractions vary, you can buy an all inclusive ticket that includes all of the attractions or you can do a pay as you go so you only pay for the attractions you want to.
The all inclusive tickets cost:-
Adults £10.95
Child £6.95
Disabled £5.95
Buying an all inclusive ticket makes all the attractions cheaper and a great family day out.

Opening hours:
During the winter - November till the end of March- the attractions are open between 11am and 4pm seven days a week.
The site closes earlier when there is severe weather,
During the Summer
The summer season, Easter until the end of October, the Visitor Centre, attractions shops and restaurants are open daily from 10am. Closing times vary between 4pm-5pm, later in August.

The site is open all year round as is the car park however the attractions are closed occasionally for maintenance and changed.

There is accommodation at Lands End if you want to stay there and there is also a pub that served hot and cold meals (The first and last inn).

There are plenty of amazing costal walks around and near the site.

Lands end is a fantastic day out suitable for all ages, all I can say is make sure you take your camera as there is plenty to take photographs off.

The only thing about Lands End, when you have been once and seen it all there is no point in going again!

Summary: Brilliant family attraction, loads to do and breath taking views.
