Lawrenson, Mark

Newest Review: ... a goal a game. He always goes against them on match of the day which I think is sad....That is my first point. Secondly, If you watched the France Vs. Spain game on sunday (25th June) You would've noticed he got one decision right. The reason I say this he made the point that Henry was getting 'leggy' and he thought Anelka was coming on for him. Then Dugarry's number came up on the sub's board and he went quiet.......Until the French manager got up and told the 4th official that it was actually Henry coming off, and didn't Mark LAwrenson go on about that for ages! Crawling out from under Hansen's shadow is Mark's perennial problem and trying to solve it by wearing loud ties cuts no ice with me. Mark's punditry is of the limp variety, shying clear of Jimmy Hill controversy and Martin O'Neill bigotry towards a banal furrow ploughed by the likes of Trevor Brooking. ...  Read the complete review
