I was lucky enough to win a competition where first prize was an evening with Gary Linekar..My son and his girlfriend and my daughter and her hubby went to the very posh Stapleford Park for a wonderful weekend to meet him. Gary is a friendly,very down to earth guy,he talked about his work,his family and was genuinely interested in what they all had to say..my son is a professional pool player,and quite a mean snooker player..so Gary challenged him to a few games of snooker !!.
