There is usually a branch of any shop you wish to visit and there is something for all the family. ***Eating*** Manchester has plenty of good restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets - just walking along the historic Deansgate gives a selection of these. My favourites include: - Bem Brazil, which my husband recently described as a 'mecca of meat!' not really a restaurant for the veggies - it brings all manner of meats on swords to the table and you supplement these with a buffet of vegetables and salad. I am a city girl and I've always lived in Leeds (apart from when I went to Uni in Bradford, but to be honest the least said about that the better). I loved Leeds and it was with a heavy heart and much trepidation that I moved to Manchester to be close to my relocated job. I knew very little about the city and it's environs before moving here and six months down the line I feel I have much more to explore. I've just moved to Manchester and totally fallen in love with it! The city is buzzing, and there's always something to do. There are shops everywhere. The Trafford Centre is amazing, I've never seen something so big in my life! Every shop you could wish for is in there, and the restaurants look so, so appealing! If you live closer to the centre, the Arndale is pretty cool too. Lots of shops, restaurants, and a market. I've never been to The Triangle, but that's another shopping centre, and Spinningfields, the business district, is up and coming. Night life is good here too; there's so much choice.
