Usually I love Christmas,I am one of those who starts counting down the days from the middle of June,much to the dismay of my poor friends.....guess what?Its only 129 days til Christmas!Groan...
This year I just want to hybernate for a decade or so.
We are skint!Ive left buying presents until the last minute.
Im doing four peoples work at my job as everyone is off..
I dont want to go Christmas shopping,a:it'll break my bank,b:Im sick of getting shoved and pushed by mindless people in the streets and shops.
Waiting hours to park or pay for things.
My sister is in some womens refuge with her four children as she has been beaten,so we cant trace her.
Christmas is just so over the top...I have told the adults Im not getting them presents any more as it is too costly and stressful
trying to come up with imaginative things each year.....my mother in law replies"aww I will tell your father in law he wont be getting a present this year"
I WANT TO SCREAM"NOT THIS YEAR,NOT EVER"!
But I politely smile before getting turned into a frog.
Whatever happened to the Christmas where you looked forward to getting your presents?
Kids of today always find something to moan about...how so and so has got a better one or the nicest colour,or theirs cost more.
Grateful just doesnt seem to exist.
Maybe the problem is with me,who knows....well I feel better for letting all that out,and I do wish every one of you a very happy Christmas...Bah HUMBUG!
