Advantages: Season of goodwill

Disadvantages: Expense and more expense

1. I wish I had somewhere to hide the children’s presents where will be undisturbed until the big day arrives.

2. I wish I had the time to wrap all of the presents without feeble excuses on Christmas morning like” Santa must have run out of sellotape”, and “the reindeer must have forgotten to buy enough paper”.

3.I wish I would have a tidy house, every corner and nook cleaned and polished.(In my dreams),well vacuumed at least!!!

4. I wish for the children to have really tidied their bedrooms, not just stuffed everything under the bed, mmm that is where those odd socks have vanished to, and all of those cups and plates!!!!!

5. I wish that there would be no arguments between siblings and families.(As is the usual Christmas tradition)

6. I wish that I can see happy contented smiling faces on Christmas day as my children open their presents, and not hear, “It’s not fair, I wanted that “.

7. I wish that Christmas dinner would be cooked for me for once.

8. I wish that everyone could have the same privileges as we are fortunate to have, and at the very least, to have company at Christmas.

9.I wish that I could have all of my family near at Christmas.

10. I wish that the season of goodwill would last all year, then maybe people would be nicer to each other, not just because it is Christmas.

Mmm and while we are at it, can I have number 11 please?
