Advantages: Oh what a bar
Disadvantages: I wont get it anyway :-(
I've looked at a few opinions in this category and seen the two sides of it, there are those who think it the best moral standing to wish for world peace and an end to all hunger and then there are those who wish to indulge themselves in a rather selfish manner. As world hunger goes without saying I decided to keep this op to the selfish ideas that I have. At number 10 on my wishlist comes the rather umimportant CD player. It's perhaps me being behind the times but I dont have one yet but instead make do with the cd drive in my computer and some software to play the latest music. Its perhaps a little useless without number 9 though. And at number 9 we have the CD writer. This is vital to go with my CD player as I download the majority of my music from the internet and so without the ability to transfer it onto CD's my spanking new player wouldnt be used anyway. One has to come with the other. At 8 we find a rather low ranking in many peoples opinion but in mine it simply isnt that important. I am talking about a car, one of those things you drive to work in, that guzzles petrol at £50 a time and that just loves to hit you with a massive insurance bill once a year. Perhaps I should have put 7 before 8 but either way Driving lessons is next. I dont yet drive properly as I never passed my full test and therefore I could do with a few lessons before sitting it. It will be all the more important if I am given a car but at the end of the day I wont get either so I dont really know what I'm moaning about. At 6 I have the all important DVD player. Here we're getting serious and the things I would actually want to get in a realistic manner. I have been eyeing up the latest DVD players that seem to be decreasing rapidly in price and wonder if now is the time to buy one. The problem with me is that I always want the best one, it has to have plenty of extra buttons and be multi-region. I doubt I'll
get it but fingers crossed that Santa finds this one in his heart. At 5 I have a very important one to announce. I want to have a lifetime supply of condoms, preferably condomi sensation (they scored number one in my top ten list) so I can enjoy endless frolics and fun with my girlfriend without the worry of pregnancy. For those of you worried about the drying up of my condom ops, I recieved my first new batch of condoms today and the ops should soon follow :) At 4 I have a slight niggle about this one, its one I had to think about before I put it in but its a mobile phone. Its not something I am overly keen on getting as I spent over £60 a week on my last pay as you go one but my girlfriend and mates keep bugging me because they cant get hold of me when I am out and about (which is always when they want something important) so I guess it has to appear. I might aswell get it as a present than buy it myself right? At 3 we have the massively important handcuffs. Now this may seem odd but it isnt the handcuffs I want most but what I can do with them. My girlfriend lives in fear that I may one day buy myself some as she knows what it entails... a night of passionate love ;-) At 2 we are nearing my most treasured ideal christmas present but this one was pipped to the post. I want to enjoy the loving drop of champagne. I know that may sound a little crazy to some of you when you consider its at number 2 but I dont just want any old champagne but a £100 bottle of Lanson blue with all its beautiful fragrance. I've been told its fantastic and the snob in me really wants to try it out. As an alcoholic goods manager I also get 10% discount at cost price so who knows.... At 1 we have the most wanted thing for me this Christmas and thats a home-bar. Thats right I want the works and I have even costed out how much it will cost. I want to have the wooden bar itself, seethough fridges, the optics to measure my upside do
wn bottles of spirits into 25ml measures and everything else you expect in a normal bar. Indeed I worked out the price for this one is only £560 (which is mostly the fridges!) and that to me is a bargain. I'm working on buying it myself but if Santa was to lend a helping hand then I wouldnt complain a bit. Here's hoping. So theres my christmas wish list and its one that I hope you enjoyed reading. I doubt you will all agree with me but thats the way of the world. Almost all of them seem to have a large ongoing cost, not least the car and the bar but I think I could manage the car (the bar is another thing with the amount I drink, I'd just be encouraging myself... :)). Here's to a merry christmas and I hope you get what you want in less than 7 weeks time :)
