Advantages: Advantages of having objects thrown at you?

Disadvantages: It hurts!

Well, as tradition go's I had another really rubbish new years last night, and some of the things I witnessed were absolutly disgraceful.

Firstly, we got out of the pub at about 2.30am, and saw someone getting beaten up, now, this was no ordinary beating, this guy was layed on the floor and being kicked in the head by about 4 or 5 other lads. Normally i wouldn't get involved but i shouted at them to stop, and they actually did, I think it was more because somebody saw them doing it, not because I told them too.

Then about 20 minutes later, I was stood outside the pub with one other mate, minding my own business and a car drives past and throws some glass bottles at me and my mate!! I couldn't beliveve it because I always try and mind my own business and never get on the wrong side of anyone! So it shocked me!
THen about 5 minutes later, the same car drives past and throws a bunch of alen keys at a girl! For no reason what so ever! So by this time we were all fuming! So we started to walk home, and, we see the car coming again! this time a crow bar is thrown out of the window at all of us! It was going consideribly slower this time and one of my mates managed to kick and punch the car as it was going past, he put some massive dents in the side of it and remarkably managed to smash the front head light! I mean, no-one could belive why these people were doing it because we all mind our own business and don't cause trouble or get on the wrong side of anyone. Astonishingly noone was hurt in these attacks.

Anyway, we were walking home and one of my mates got a phone call through saying that the car had come past again, someone had got out and tried to mugg my friends girlfriend, he stuck up for her, and for his troubles he got a wine glass! smashed over his head. Now this guy was on his own with his girlfriend outside the pub, and me and my other mates were nearly back home. Now i suprised by my friends behaviour now, because
this lad had been hit with this bottle and he only had his girlfriend with him and no-one knew how he was! So i said we have go to go back and see how he his, no-one wanted to go back! So, I went on my own, being paranoid of literally every car that came past. Anyway, he was OK thankfully just a little bit dazed.

The thing is, this wasn't even in town! this is just my local pub and the area is getting so bad now that you see people getting beaten up all the time and this pub now shuts early because of the figthing?

I dont know if this is the right place to put this, and I have been fuming about it all day and just needed to right it down!
