Advantages: Price, sturdy, cosy, Great on rough ground and bumpy tracks good fitting raincover, good size for a 3 wheeler (front wheel doesn't stick too far out) and it looks good.
Disadvantages: Not suitable for newborns, basket a bit small, can be heavy to turn (so are most large prams with fixed wheels).
Well then is it better than the Trax. Yes no problems so far. It has a burgandy and beige hood, seat and cosy toes in a nylon type shower proof material. The 3 wheels are not to large and are pneumatic. They can be blown up with a bike pump so pack a repair kit and mini pump just in-case. The shape is the same as the Trax but the frame has a kind of black hammered type finsh. The frame doesn't get as grubby looking as chrome can. The seat has 2 positions which are changed by 2 long zips either side of the seat back. The raincover fits very well and velcros under the foot rest to keep their tootises dry. It can be folded back or removed completly and folded to store in the shopping basket. As Scottish weather is so rainy I usually put it over the hood but tuck it back under the hood above the babies head so that its handy. The shopping basket is fairly small but sturdy and enough for a jacket and small bag, not for your weekly shopping though. The handle has a neoprene type cover that is very comfortable. So what other differances are there, well for £30 more than the Trax you get a fleece lined cosy toes as well as the better wheels plus the colour would probably appeal more than the black. I am particulary pleased with the cosy toes it ias very warm and is shower proof, along with the hood its ideal for dashing in and out of shops without putting the full raincover on. I am very pleased with this pushchair and an added bonus was that there was £20 off the price when we bought it. So it was even better value as the price includes the cosy toes and raincover. Any bad points? Well the raincover maybe fits too well as I have found it can steam up a bit. I think I may add a few more holes in the side for added ventelation. As the front wheel doesn't swivel it can be hard work turning a lot. Not as great in shops as it is out in the open. Very good over bumpy ground. If you are very small, have problems w
ith your wrists or arms I would have a good try before you buy.
