Advantages: Errrr, well it'll be a good way to make money if they ever put any surveys up!
Disadvantages: No surveys! = no points = no prizes :(
Well, I've been registered with Euro Panel for sometime now, after having discovered it through the hallowed pages of dooyoo.
Unfortunately, I'm still sitting on 5 Bonus Points, and am a long way from getting my hands on any of Euro Panel's cache of Euros... not because I couldn't be bothered to fill out the surveys, but because I've never been given any surveys to fill out!
I filled out the initial survey that is presented upon joining up, earning me my five points, however I have not been given any more surveys to complete since then.
It seems to me that Euro Panel has gone on a huge recruitment drive without actually having any customers. I can't see what other reason there could be for the complete lack of surveys.
I see it's still being heavily promoted by dooyoo, so I hope that the surveys will be forthcoming very quickly, because at the moment I just feel like I have wasted my time in registering for Euro Panel.

I received an e-mail from Euro Panel yesterday! it was inviting me to complete a "Getting to know more about you" survey which earned me another two bonus points.
Basically, it comprised just a few questions asking whether I would be interested in certain products such as digital TV, whether I held any credit cards etc. Presumably this is so that they can match up Euro Panel members with some surveys that they now have waiting, as some of the questions related to very specific products.
Hopefully the surveys will start coming in more quickly now. At least I hope they will!

Oh dear, no more surveys....
Seems that my earlier optimism was misplaced...
I've had more surveys in the short time I've been registered with instantintelligence.net (separate op titled "M
oney for old WAP") than I have in the months now that I've been registered with Euro Panel.
How can the site survive if it's not doing any business? (I can only conclude this to be the reason for the lack of surveys).
Euro Panel will surely go under if this continues for much longer...

- 13/05/01 Isn't Dooyoo actually related to the Euro Panel company (Skopos) in some way?
That was what I was led to believe anyway... it made it all the more disappointing.
T he Euro Panel Point display on Dooyoo seems to be little more than an advert, as it ALWAYS shows 5 points, even if you have not registered. |

- 13/05/01 I think the whole thing stinks like a stinky thing. Irritating that dooyoo got involved to the extent of having your Europanel points displayed within your dooyoo points box, and yet nothing to show for it. Maybe dooyoo need to be a bit more discriminating about who they "share" their space with? Hope we all get to eat our words some time soon, but won't be holding my breath...;) |
