My eight year old niece came to stay over Christmas and she must have played Britney Spears ?Oop I did It Again? about a hundred times. I am know big Britney fan but when she said ?Auntie can I put this album on?I had no qualms. It was Christmas after all.?

However, after listening to it for a full week I have to say it?s not one of the best albums that I have heard. It?s a typical pop album. What?s a typical pop album. A couple of good hits and a couple of extremely dreary ones.

There?s some extremely poor tracks like ?Dear Diary? a song written by Britney herself. You can tell, it?s very soppy and unless your feeling very depressed it?s not one that will catch on. ?Can?t Make you love Me? maybe this song was written for her boyfriend or ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake. Again, it?s very poppy and way to soppy for me.

When you listen to ?What you see is what you get? you may have thought you listened to ?Oops I did it again?. I may seem a bit harsh but if you know a bit about music and are looking for something quality. Then, this album provided with very few.
?Boombastic Love? has exactly the same chorus as ?Oops I did it Again?.

One of the lyrics that stood out for me was on a track called ?Overprotected? ?I?m so fed up with being told to be something else but me?.
I may seem critical but if you are over the age of 14 then this album isn?t for you. It won?t be a album that you will listen to a lot.
