Oregon Scientific Organiser Version 1.01 This is a credit card sized organiser which has a memory capacity of 512kb (half a mega byte). It costs £50 from Index. It is a touch screen organiser and it has a calculator on it which can do calculate length, area, volume, weight and temperature. It can also work out the exchange rates but when the rates change you can change them accordingly. It can store phone numbers, mobile numbers, fax numbers, addresses, work addresses, work phone numbers, birthdays, e-mail addresses and information about the person which this is all under all in the address icon in the menu. Premium Review ZEON TECH 132K ORGANISER WITH E.L BACKLIGHT (985 words)

Having decided to end my days as a stick in the mud, who avoided mobile phones and computers like the plague I recently added to my collection of ‘gadgets’ a personal organiser. Ok so that is not such a shocking revelation to most people, but for me it was a pretty big step! Many people will wonder why I felt the need to buy one of these, basically computerised address books. Well the answer is I am a bit scatterbrained at times (no comments please!), and useless at writing down addresses and phone numbers and so on. Now this didn’t pose a problem really as for phone numbers I had my mobile phone, and most people I know are on the Internet ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Organisers in general: Oregon Osaris - PDA (113 words)

The orgegon osaris is an excellent PDA, similar to the Psion Revo. It's about £100 cheaper than the Revo but, in my opinion, has all the features of it. I use it for college and my business activities too. It has features such as; word-processing, spreadsheet, database, world time, claculator, and a whole range of other utilities. It is Epoc compatible, which means you can download free/share ware from the internet and install it on to the osaris with its PC sync feature. All in all, it offers excellent value for money and is the most useful piece of hardware I have ever purchased. This is great for students especially. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Get organised for less than a tenner! (380 words)

I recently took over as secretary of a brass band I play trombone with. I soon realised I could use some sort of electronic organiser to help me keep on top of all the contact numbers, meetings, engagements and so on. In an ideal world, it would have been nice to go out and buy one of the new PDAs, but that would have been stretching the band's budget a bit far! Fortunately, I happened to come across Casio's SF-3600 ER digital diary for only £7.45 - this is a pocket sized unit with 64KB of memory on board. On offer is a telephone directory (which also stores mobile, fax, pager and e-mail details!), a scheduler (with the ability to set warning alarms), a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Organisers in general: Orego Osaris (100 words)

This is a hanheld PDA whichhas some amazing features. You can send email surf the web or just look up a 'phone number, all from the user friendly qwerty keypad. The screen is adecent size with a backlight that is handy in dark situations, although my only gripe would be the data is sometimes a little too hard to see due to the highly reflective touch sensitive screen. Files can be saved and backed up onto your pc link via a cable which is included in the packaage.I recommend this product for it's features and value for money. ...  Read the complete review
