Other Attractions in generalNewest Review: ... drinks tucked in the boot we set off and not long after we are approaching Newcastle, the approach to Newcastle on a sunny day is just a sight to behold, the Mourne Mountains just hit you a few miles before you actually reach Newcastle,i still love the sight off them. we arrive in the town and park the car, have a bite to eat for lunch and walk to the town,I would say it wouldnt be as big as an English seaside town and 30 mins would take you right round it,but we like to stroll at a quite pace and browse through all the shops and stalls. It has a great number of bars and Hotels and plenty of good Bed & Breakfast and off course three differe... more |

I dont know how familiar you all are with Northern Ireland but there are 2 main seaside towns, one is Portrush,up the antrim coast and the other is Newcastle which is not to far from Southern Ireland. Anyway as i am now getting fed up being at home and cant wait to get back to work,i know next year i am going abroad!! The indoor animals are well housed and have plenty of space. There is usually plenty of staff on hand to answer your questions and pick up ... Read the complete review

The Sunday before the Carnival, at Bridports 'port' West Bay, there's a Trawler Race. The fisherman decorate their fishing boats in themes. Ever seen Cleopatra go fishing? James Bond with a ... When we arrived in Sherborne, we were told by a resident, that "if you live here, nothing much happens, and as long as you realise that, its great". That said, not a lot actually happens, but there is plenty for a day tripping visitor to see. The old church in the town center, two, yes, two castles, the museum, and many nice bars, pubs and restaurants. One tip - the bottom part of the high street is for the younger drinkers in the evening and is always well humoured, and not trouble. The town has a small square where one of the pubs provides outdoor seating and is lovely place to sit on sunny summer afternoons. Go to Sherborne for the day and ... Read the complete review
