As we approach December I am faced with an ever increasing list of must have christmas presents. Only yesterday my 6 year old son presented me with 4 A4 sheets of presents, both sides. I can no longer turn on the telly without being bombarded with adverts and the shouts of "I WANT THAT". Even escaping to the shops to browse is not an option with children in tow. It seems it has been months since the shelves were piled high with presents galore, and to top it all off santa is already in residence.
As it is only mid November and I am yet to commence my shopping I face the lists growing longer and the panic building as we all try to achieve the impossible.
However long those lists get and however much we buy our kids will it ever be enough. My only conclusion is probably not.
