Advantages: email whilst not at pc
Disadvantages: cannot receive email.
I recently learned from a friend how you can send email from your mobile. It is really easy and can be used by most mobile that have SMS ability. To learn how you can do this then follow the instructions below: Start the message with a capital M followed by a space then the email address followed by a space and then your message, example:-create a new message on your phone and start it like this: M name@domain.name <type email here Send the message to one of the following numbers depending on which network you are with: BT-Cellnet 07720 296 269 Orange 07974 914 680 One-2-One 07946 354 378 Vodafone 07769 707 344 I have tried it and can verify that this works. The only drawback being that non-WAP phones cannot receive email they can only send it out! However, if you find that you are stuck with no way to contact someone, then it gives you another option. I haven't had my phone bill yet, and hence do not know if it costs the same as SMS. That cost of course will vary depending upon your network and your mobile agreement or plan.
