Advantages: type as fast as on a PC, USB port

Disadvantages: optional carry case is too tight

I bought a Handspring Visor Deluxe & it's great (that's already common public knowledge elsewhere on dooyoo). One thing these devices lack is a keyboard. I knew this when I opted for a Palm rather than a Windows CE unit. The fix for me was the GoType! Visor keyboard. These have a USB socket included so you can Sync while the Visor is connected to the keyboard. My other option would have been to wait for the Visor version of the Landware folding keyboard. I had no joy from UK stockists or from anyone at Targus (who are the worldwide distributers) in finding the likely UK date on these.

What a difference, it's 3/4 keyboard size but has a good action and improved on my rather sketchy Graffiti skills no end. I still use Graffiti a lot but for emails and 'real' typing I'd not go without it now. Apparently the Landware keyboard is great if you have a flat, solid surface to support it but I found the GoType! to work great on those nice seat-back tables you get on trains & planes. In both cases there are still some events that require you to use the stylus eg. checkboxes. The GoType! has nice left & right-handed stylus ports as a bonus feature.

I picked mine up from Expansys (http://www.expansys.com) and got great service. The delivery time was about 3 days.
