Well, he certainly has his own style of commentary. Some people don't like it, others do but one thing that I can definately say is that he sure isn't John Motson! His quite high pitched voice and tendancies to scream every so often make even the most boring of football matches become alive. When Chelsea were in their European campaign during 1998/99, he commentated on most games whilst being on Channel 5. It was funny because all the press and media weren't talking about triumphant Chelsea, they were laughing at Jonathan Pearce.
