I am one of the first people to slag referees off for refusing to consider their actions after the game has ended and I have long been critical of Graham Poll. His decisions in the Liverpool-Arsenal game were awful and his sendings off were despicable. However, in his favour, he did ask the FA to reconsider the sendings off of McAllister and Hamann. This showed that he is not as inflexible as some of his fellow referees and I only hope that more referees admit that they may have made a mistake and remedy it after the event.
