Pulp played the main stage at leeds festival on Sunday and were by far the best live act in the entire festival. There set was fantastic with a livley mix of old and new songs punctuated by witty commentry by mr Cocker himself. The set would have been even better if it had not have pissed down constantly during the performance. Pulp?s set on the Saturday night at Reading was ace. They played a good mix of old and more recent songs as well as quite a bit of brand new stuff from their upcoming album. Jarvis had a great rapport with the crowd as usual and enjoyed a good natter with us between songs, unlike Liam and Noel Gallagher the previous night who spent most of the time arguing. Jarvis? voice was as usual beautifully moving, and the rest of the band seemed to be having a really good time on stage too.
