Advantages: Good set

Disadvantages: it rained

Pulp played the main stage at leeds festival on Sunday and were by far the best live act in the entire festival. There set was fantastic with a livley mix of old and new songs punctuated by witty commentry by mr Cocker himself. The set would have been even better if it had not have pissed down constantly during the performance. However Jarvis got the entire crowd to look up at the sky and shout STOP, which livened things up a bit (that day was soo sunny that most ppl were just wearing shorts and a T-shirt).

The set started off with a series of old songs like FEELING CALLED LOVE and Sorted for E's and Wizz (with some of the lyrics changed to suit leeds festival) and they played some new songs that are yet to be released - sounded pretty good. However I was dissapointed that they played quite a lot of stuff off the 'This is hardcore' album which I thought was rather poor. But they did sing 'Help the aged' which is a right good laugh.

Best band of the festival
