SnatchNewest Review: ... to beat but I think it shone threw and can be arguable which is the better. Thankfully Snatch delivered in more ways than one and proved to be classic Guy Ritchie Film. The Film itself is a London gangster featuring Stephen Graham, Brad Pitt and Jason Statham. The film features two intertwined plots, one dealing with the search of a stolen diamond and the other featuring Turkish a small time boxing promoter under the thumb of psychotic gangster named Brick Top. Throughout the film its comical and very entertaining and has to be on your list for a must see. Overall I found this to be great film and recommend to anyone interested in great ... more |

Having seen previous Guy Ritchie film "Lock Stock and Two Smoking barrels" I had high expectations for Snatch as the standard of Lock stock was high and knew this would be hard to beat but I think it shone threw and can be arguable which is the better. After all, not every director has to be like Martin Scorsese and dabble in costume dramas and would-be heroic about religious figures. As long as Ritchie avoids overexposure, he could have a nice future ahead of him making twisted caper pictures like this one. On a certain level, one could almost consider Snatch to be a big-budget remake of ... Read the complete review

After immensely enjoying the cockney wonder of “lock, stock, and two smoking barrels”, being satisfied, and laughing at it’s wit even after having seen it several times, I couldn’t wait two see same style movie, with “Snatch”. I was left far from disappointed. Is it simply a remake of Lock, Stock, and two smoking barrels? Snatch has the same director as Lock Stock, so the crime-ridden story line is similarly strung together. Also similar to Lock Stock, is the amusing way that the many different groups of characters, all funny in their own way, are linked, and interact with each other, with hilariously ...
