      I was outside the Salon at 9.15am the Edgware branch in the broadwalk opens at 9.30am .There was one lady waiting in front of me so I thought great seeing as I only wanted to have my childs hair trimmed.. There was one hairdresser on her own when I asked how long I would have to wait she didn't give me an explanation apart from there was another hairdresser due in and that if I left I would lose my turn..It's outrageous that there's only one stylist we waited for half an hour & walked out .. I won't be going back !!

      One bad experience does not make them all bad hairdressers

      Reading a few reviews before I went to the supercuts in the white rosé I was very sceptical but as it was a Monday not many hairdressers were open and I didn't want to travel back home (Barnsley near Sheffield) just to get my hair cut by my usual hairdresser.
      I live in Leeds a the minute but I move around a lot so I thought it would be easier to go back home for the hairdressers. Anyway after long shifts and busy days off I had failed to notice I needed a hair cut and a reshape badly my hair needed a good cut.
      So after a few trips around the shops I popped in to supercuts where a lovely young lady with long dark hair with pink ends greeted me straight away, I sat for a moment while she prepared a station and then we got right to it. Asking me what I wanted, how much I wanted to cut off and giving me the total cost.
      The cut was amazing exactly what I wanted to a really high standard and even when I asked for a bit more off the fringe it wasn't a problem. £30.90 wash, blow dry and cut.
      I don't usually write reviews but all the negitive ones I read before hand coupled with the amazing cut I got made me want to so other people arnt put off.

      terrible haircut. do not believe the staff are really hairdressers

      Never again I went into the supercuts in Sheffield . After being to one in Scarborough and not to much of a bad cut there.
      This was Friday 13th July 2013 maybe a omen.
      But the middle aged about 49 to 52. Who had an haircut herself like the Annette Kranky. She was a ringer for her.
      Sat me down for a cut and blowdry. She went to pick up random layers from the middle of my hair and what only can be best discribed hacking at it. I expressed concern . And told her are you not meant to start from the crown. She shrugged and said every hair dresser does it different. God I so wished I had walked out at that point.
      But I really throught it would get better. But looking at her own hair I should of known.
      I have ended up with the most badly hair cut in the Uk. It honestly could not be any worse if you had put your head in a strimmer.
      Been British still paid even though I told her I was not happy. But she looked blank. I walked out of the meadowhall branch.
      Vowing never to go near another super cuts as long has I live.
      Please be warned the staff in there if they are hairdressers then the school of hairdressing needs regulating more.
      So be warned.....

      Really disappointing service....After waiting over 1 and a half hours to have hair done in under 3 minutes with no style... Don't usually complain but this was ridiculous. Went out of desperation because my usual place had double booked and was going out so had to have it neatened....big mistake, looked worse after....

      This is the place to go if you know what you want and it is a great price. I think they depend on tips so they do a really good job. Don't let them put products in your hair that you aren't going to use. If you get a great hair cut they keep track of who did your last hair cut and you can go when she is working. It's nice to pay less and go more often. Haven't had a bad experience in a long time because I explain exactly what I want and know what looks good on me. Good luck. I used to go to a regular hair dresser but here I can just go and get a hair cut at a wonderful price and be happy.

      Hi,I think that the previous message is rather harsh. I dont think a bad review should be given to the whole company because each salon is different and i had a very good experience last week at Supercuts.Firstly i would like to mention that the salon is conveniently located, and found it very easy to find . Nevertheless, my experience at the salon was 5 stars. The hairdresser who I recall was named Baz (short, slim with a rather eye-catching hair doo) was fantastic, he was very accommodating and transformed my hair into something I can now embrace and show off. He was not a typical pushy hairdresser but inspired me to peruse buying a product from the recommended.I would not hesitate in recommending Baz or Supercuts to all my peers and friends

      Awfull mess

      I was shopping in Whiterose centre a couple of weeks ago decided on the spur of the moment to have my hair cut I looked in to see if the lady that usually does it was there she wasnt she made a nice job of it so I decided to still have it done bad idea it was a sun they were busy had to wait about 30 mins anyway a lady took me over and asked me what I wanted I told her a trim at the bottom and about a inch of my layers and feathered round the face she agreed later found out she was called nina ,she talked that much about her wedding that she wasn't concentrating took too much of my length I nearly burst out crying the layers were all far too short my fringe was wonky it was awfull I felt inamadated by her that I daren't say anything paid 35 pounds for cut and also she talked me into buying products which I didn't want what a awfull mess had to go somewhere else to have it cut straight at the back and have my layers sorted out as it was shorter at one side than the other .

      I just went to Supercuts at Victoria shopping centre, and to be honest I have never seen something like that in my life.. Completely unprofessional, lack of communication and careless attitude. The lady who cut my hair was so impolite, and she said she knew what she was doind, but she didn't, simply Bad Professional, ridiculous service and I don't know what more I can say.. No Respect whatsoever!! Got really disappointed..!!Unbelievable and it seems that people from Supercuts don't even care about these reviews at all!!

      wouldnt go back

      Appalling... was shopping so thought it was good that there was a hair dressers in the shopping centre.. when I got called for my haircut i had really long hair i mentioned having a short layer and she said it only looks good if you have shorter hair and i said ok leave it cos i wanted my length... while she was cutting my hair i noticed her cutting a really short length and so i stopped her and checked the length of my hair and said it was too short she started doing her own thing and cut it too short.. she should have checked before cutting it and she start cutting my feathers and was doing one side when I said i was going to call my sister who was shopping to check my length as I needed long hair for her upcoming wedding... the hairdresser started to panic and start sweeping my hair up and didn't finish the feathers on my other side... she then start straightening my hair at the end after blow-drying not informing me that it was an extra £5 for straightening when I said I didn't want it straightened and she knew I wasn't happy but didn't ask if she could do anything or anything of that sort instead i paid and left.... which I shouldn't have paid but i went back to see if there was anything she could do and she said i could have a free haircut in the next 2 weeks and i said you are recommended every 6 weeks so it should be then even though i didn't want to go back but she refused and said there was nothing else she could do and when i spoke to my friends about it they has heard from other people that super cuts doesn't have a good rep and the hairdressers like to do their own thing... not recommended place to go.

      i Walked into Supercuts to get my hair done asked the lady once she had finished restyling her own hair if it would be possible to get my hair cut (it stated £16.95 on board for a cut) she then asked me do i mean washed and cut i said no dry cut, apparently they must be the only hairdressers to not do dry cuts as all the ones i have been to before havent had a problem. i asked how much for a wash and cut she then told me £23 this is not a bargain haircut.

      No appt supercut misleading - waits too long and cuts disappointing

      Never go to Supercuts in Sunderland unless you are not too fussy and have hours of time to spare. I have been twice - the first visit I had a not too bad cut only after waiting over an hour while the two hairdressers were both doing full head colours - I thought the idea was to get a super cut without appointment as a fast track service!! Anyhow one of the clients suddenly upped and went to visit a nearby supermarket with half her head in foils and kept the stylist waiting before she returned to have them completed. I know it was not the salons fault but they seemed to think it was a huge joke! There was also an altercation over a bill when a widely advertised special offer was not accepted cos they apparently did not know about it.
      I then returned for a second visit mores the pity cos I ended up with a cut by a seriously inexperienced girl who after three attempts left me with a wonky fringe several inches above the eyebrows - gross! Apparently it was down to me cos I have a fringe that goes up - huh? I was then informed I could have waited for another stylist of choice - so much for the first come first served basis. At the end of the day perhaps the concept is not as good as a salon with regular appointments with stylist of choice as at least you know what you are getting. Also the prices are misleading as you always end up paying extra.

      Don't bother

      I'm a bloke who isn't too fussy about his appearance, and as long as a haircut looks reasonably tidy and keeps me cool, I'm happy. But Supercuts Walthamstow has become the ONLY barbers I have ever walked out of. The guys being cut in front of me were leaving with misshapen heads the likes of which I've only ever seen before on a cocnut shy, with uneven lengths cut in, stray hairs visible from 10ft away, and in one case absolutely no discernable style attempted at all! Just a ball of toussled hair with a few poking straight out. Three walked past me like that, minutes apart, and from different 'stylists', so I bolted. In case it was a one off and still in search of a reasonably priced haircut, I went to the one in Gloucester Road a few days later, but much the same story albeit less busy. Wonky hairlines, uneven lengths... All clippers and hope rather than scissors and skill. Avoid.

      Supercuts don't like their customers.

      Well for a start I suggest that you don't actually need my phone number in order for me to complain.
      This morning, I walked past SuperCuts in the Broadway Centre, Hammersmith (London) and looked at the times on the door. 'Good,' I thought. 'They close at 9.pm.'
      So I was disappointed at 7.50 pm tonight when I attempted to get my hair cut. They were closed. The door was open, and there were 3 customers waiting. But only 2 staff, which apparently means they can't cut my hair. In an hour and 10 minutes? My haircuts take less than 30 minutes. What time do they really close? Any chance they could let your customers in on the secret?
      This CAN 'be helped', actually. It's simple. What they need to do is KEEP THEIR WORD, the one they give to you on their door. Instead they allow their staff to bunk off early. I'm typing this in Starbucks, who close at 9.30. That means that, at 9.30, the staff will tell us they're closed, close the door and start cleaning. We then leave our seats and they open the door to let us out. Similarly, Boots, Tesco, etc, all the other local shops, will close WHEN THEY SAY THEY DO. Presumably they don't hold their customers in contempt.
      I tried to complain via their site. First of all, they 'need' to collect my phone number as well as my email address. Secondly, they need me to identify the branch. No matter what name i typed in, it just told me again to enter the branch name. The search button wouldn't work.
      I don't think I'll bother using Supercuts again. Shame really, I've used them since the early 1990s! But the last two times I've tried to go in they've done this, with over an hour to go before 'closing time'.

      I went today and shown the stylist a picture of how i wanted my hair and he suggested full head of highlights. well when it was all finished i hated the cut nothing like i showed him and i thought my fringed looked a bit grey coloured, but just thougt it maybe the lighting in the shop... Oh how wrong was i when i got in the car and looked in the mirror it was blue...... i have just got off the phone to them and i have to go back tomorrow to see a colour stylist.... i hope i get a refund aswell !!!!! i am so angry and upset and i have just cancelled my night out as my hair is blue rinse blue colour i am horrified.

      In a life with so many things to complain about, I think it's wonderful when something nice happens to you...I have just come back from the Super Cuts in Hounslow and the hair Bob a lady called Alla created was just amazing. I have never, I mean NEVER, felt so different and at the same time beautiful after a hair treatment. Smashing job! Good job, Alla!
