Supercuts is a cheap hairdressers, with a few branches across the country. This review will focus on my experience of the hairdressers in Manchester Arndale Centre.

I don't generally visit hairdressers because of the cost, but Supercuts seemed a cheap option, and my hair was in need of a trim. I checked out the reviews on here before I went, which all seemed very negative, but I thought I'd give it a go anyway, on the basis that I would only get a mate to do it otherwise, and a hairdresser should be better able to do the job!

THE WAITING
Supercuts operates on a walk in basis, with no appointment needed. They are open until 8 in the week, and on a Sunday, so it's handy to fit a cut around your lifestyle.
I first visited on Sunday, around 3pm, and was told there was a 2 hour wait, so I decided to go back on Monday. On Monday I went after work, about half 5, and was told that as there was only one member of staff they couldn't fit me in. Desperate to get my hair cut, I visited again on Tuesday, and after a 40 minute wait my hair was cut.

THE STAFF
What did suprise me was that I had my hair cut around 6pm, and it took about ten minutes, but the person working told others who came in that she had no time to cut their hair, when they were supposed to be open until 8.. lazy?? Her boss was in when I was waiting and told her to do something at ten to 8 if she had time, so there cant of been much of a reason to turn customers away!!
Other than that, the staff were very friendly, and very apologetic when they couldn't fit me in. They didn't try to sell me any hair products either, which I thought would of been pushed on me!!

THE CUT ITSELF
I had a dry cut, and have straight hair, no layers or anything so fairly simple. The girl straightened my hair then trimmed it, did just what I asked, not to little or too much off, and offered advice as well. It took ten minutes then I could escape.

THE PRICE
Supercuts is cheap, the cut cost me £12.95 which was a bargain!

Summary: I'll probably go again, if I can be bothered with the wait!
