Newest Review: ... waiting for the gates to open, when they finally did there was an almighty cheer as the crowd surged forward to see the first act which was David Gray.As expected David Gray was excellent, as where all the other artists on at this time although I didnt bother venturing into the 'folk' music tents because its not really my scene. The arena was well laid out and the organisers where ... more

We arrived in Kinross (Scotland) a day before the festival so we could get our tent set up and get our bearings. (after an 8hr drive, assembling an old tent is not the most fun of things to do).As soon as we started to get the tent out of the boot of the car it started to rain and boy did it rain, non stop until we left two days later! The rain wasent a problem we hardly noticed it because of the good time we were having. We queued from 12pm to about 1230pm outside the arena waiting for the gates to open, when they finally did there was an almighty cheer as the crowd surged forward to see the first act which was David Gray.As expected David Gray was ...  Read the complete review

Gotta say it, I had the best time at T in the Park. Even the mud, the smelly toilets and the rain didn't get me down. Highlights for me: Moby, who I actually sat next to on the plane on the way up (no, really!) Leftfield, who I couldn't see (only 5ft 3in) but my bones were vibrating when I left and going on the dodgems with a hangover - the best hangover cure you can get. Everyone was lovely, there was no agro and due to the fact that my boyfriend lives close by, we even had a really nice b&b for the nite. Really cool and I'm def. going next year - beats Reading out of the ball park. Charonovitch ...  Read the complete review

They say that mud is good for your skin. Well anybody that went this year will have a beautiful complection. We arrived on Friday afternoon and were lucky to get a pitch towards the back of the campsite. The campers near the entrance had a constant stream of people traipsing past and I am glad we got a quieter spot if you can call it that. We got pitched up and got to know the campers next to us. We sent of for the famous Pot-Noodle stand near the centre of the campsite and had the most nutritious meal we were to have all weekend. Some people attempt to cook but I don't think I could be bother finding the bit where you can cook, you can't cook ...  Read the complete review

I find it very disappointing that so many people are obsessed with the appaling lack of musical content from so many current artists. I saw a very little of T4 yesterday (sunday 10th july) and was greeted by the likes of Ronan Keeting, Five, Billy Piper etc. is it not the case that these so called musicians don't write their own music, don't play their own music (and in many cases no one plays the music, only a programmer) and are more enthralled by the choreography than the music. Is it the case that many of these artists are merely failed actors and dancers? Festivals such as these are not designed for music lovers, more for pre-pubescent girls who ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review T In The Park 2000 Music Festival: Great Day out (117 words)

A good day out with quite some mixture of groups and music. Starting off with Travis they got the crowd going with the hits that have been on all the jukeboxes this year. The old favourites like Steps and Martine were also there although it was worth going to see Victoria Beckham. With her hair now long and a top that was rather revealing she was very eyecatching (her singing was not bad either!!). The weather could have been better like last year but you cant complain an occasional shower cools you down. The Corrs played their number one single and got the crowd going. Anyway a good day out well worth the occasional downpour. ...  Read the complete review
