Advantages: Everything was Fantastic

Disadvantages: Campsite beer prices £48 for 24 cans

We arrived in Kinross (Scotland) a day before the festival so we could get our tent set up and get our bearings. (after an 8hr drive, assembling an old tent is not the most fun of things to do).As soon as we started to get the tent out of the boot of the car it started to rain and boy did it rain, non stop until we left two days later!
The rain wasent a problem we hardly noticed it because of the good time we were having.

We queued from 12pm to about 1230pm outside the arena waiting for the gates to open, when they finally did there was an almighty cheer as the crowd surged forward to see the first act which was David Gray.As expected David Gray was excellent, as where all the other artists on at this time although I didnt bother venturing into the 'folk' music tents because its not really my scene.
The arena was well laid out and the organisers where obviously prepared for the rain, as plastic sheeting had been laid down so the arena didnt turn into a quagmire, also plastic ponchos where available reasonably cheaply. The food side of things was pretty good, everything from haggis to curry, but most importantly was Beer!Beer prices inside the arena were comparable to that in a pub, but in the campsite the prices were extortionate 24 cans of Tennants lager(4%)cost an amazing £48 which by all means is scandalous. The rain continued on through the night and the next day.

The arena was open slightly earlier on day 2 and the crowd seemed even bigger probably something to do with Travis being on in the evening I explored the whole arena on day 2 venturing into all the tents and stalls there was definitely something for everyone available in the stalls ranging from weird clothing to funky sunglasses all at a reasonable price.
The groups on day 2 were amazing and all the artist on were fantastic as expected the rain continued on through the night but I didnt notice as I had consumed so much Tennants by then that I was sound asleep dreaming
about the AllSaints.
