Talksport radio: I don't know about you but I really enjoy most popular sporting events and Talksport radio is a great service that makes sure you catch all the latest sports news. Talksport is currently the fastest growing UK radio station and I must say that I am not surprised at all. Having been a long term fan of the fantastic Test Match Special, I was admitedly somewhat disappointed when TalkSport, the ambitious new radio station, bourght the rights to the winter test matches for England. However I feel that they have done a decent job and I enjoy listening to their coverage. Still, I would rather tune in to Aggers and the BBC team. The first thing to say is that TalkSport is on the medium wave and this immediatley is an advantage. I used to get very annoyed when a radio could not pick up long wave-where Test Match Special can be heard-and so being able to listen to the cricket on any radio is a real bonus. I must congratulate Talk Sport for their excellent coverage of the test series in Pakistan. I listened to almost every ball of the three match series and thoroughly enjoyed the humour and expert analysis provided by the whole team. Geoffrey Boycott was as outspoken as ever, especially when talking about the delaying tactics shamefully used by the Pakistanies in the final test at Karachi. He couldn't hide his jubilation in the final over of the match when the Pakistanies failed to see the ball and the result was ten runs from the final three balls. please please give me regular cricket scores instead of colourful descriptions of the buildings in the city. The commentary team barring boycs has alot to learn about the great game of creeekit. Why must we listen to chris broad and his limited, biased and crude comments, give me tony lewis any day.
