I love the new dooyoo. The redesign has been very good and definatly worthwhile.

At first I thought that the redesign looked a lot like the ciao site but after exploring I found that it was great. It is easier to get around, I like the colours and the actual set up of the homepage.

The idea of short opinions is good, but I haven't actually used the facility yet. I think that I am still used to the old way of writing a full length opinion. Short opinions are good for people who want a quick glimpse and don't have time to read a full length op.

Also giving us the choice of writing a short opinion has meant that short ops are short and I have found that my longer opinions have got longer.

The community section is a good idea, and also the link to dooyoo forums. With he old dooyoo I couldn't actually find any forums.

I also think that the idea of having a page where we can find new members is very useful. When I first joined it took me a while to find my way round dooyoo. My opinions were not good. I feel that it is a good idea for older members to welcome new mebers and offer them friendly advice and now we have the oppoerunity to find out whose new.

Although most things are very good, I still feel that the rating system can be improved. WE rate the opinions on how useful we find them. However, I feel that at times, even though we may not intentionally, we may rate an opinion as not useful or somewhat useful because we do not agree with it. It is human to do so. The opinion may be very well written but how we feel about the subject may influence our rating. My idea is that maybe there should be two categories of raing an op. Oneon its usefulness and the second on how well it is written. Tis is an idea I had.
