Swimming and clubbing don't mix (The Aquarium)

This club is definately unique - never before have I had the opportunity to visit a club and been advised to bring a bikini. Yes the Aquarium was so-named due to its indoor swimming pool, smack, bang in the middle of the club. Yes, this is a unique idea and when I first heard of it I thought what a good idea. However, on entering the club, had a good vibe and then the trip to the pool which at first was empty until a couple of mates and me dived in - suddenly meat market time! there is a bouncer on the door and a lifeguard available at all times, but they both seem more interested in convincing girls to skinny dip. A lot of people will go topless and you may if you dare but be wary - from that point on you may find yourself landed with numerous stalkers for the night. However for the lad I'm sure it was considered a good night! These stalkers may come in hanmdy as drinks prices are extortionate here, however visit the cocktails bar and you can have any cocktail you like for £4.50. Definately a one time only place on my list!! This place is on Old Street - closest tube is Old Street Station (Northern Line-Bank branch, zone 1), take Exit 4 out the station and keep going about 100yds.
