Disadvantages: REAL-needles, FAKE-need storage when Christmas is over

Fake Vs real.

ADVANTAGES TO REAL

Well, I think if real trees had no hassle around them I would probably prefer them. They have that really nice smell that seems to float through the house and remind every one that it is Christmas. And lets face it, they are real trees so they obviously look like real ones, another advantage! I think compared to fake ones they are overall better looking and more Christmas looking and feeling! But, there are hassles!

DISADVANTAGES TO REAL

I'm sure that everyone has had that horrible experience when you have to walk around a freezing cold forrest or garden centre for hours on end when you wait for your parents to choose a tree. "How about that one?" "No, that one is too fat" I'm sure you know what I mean! And how about when you get the thing home after trying to get it in the car and it doesn't fit in the space you always put the tree! I think the most annoying thing though is when the needles start to drop. There you are with the hoover trying to get it under the tree without hitting off all of the decorations!

ADVANTAGES TO FAKE

Well lets face it, you buy the tree once for quite a reasonable amount of money and then that will last you several years. You can measure the space you'd like it in and get one you know will fit! When you have the tree up, it's up to you to pull out the branches to the place you'd like them, so none of the "it's too fat" business! I also find that they are a lot easier to decorate. You don't get any off the hassel of clearing up needles and they don't take very long to put down again.

DISADVANTAGES TO FAKE

Well it's is slighty cheating and of course they are not as festive as the real ones. They do save you a lot of money but when Christams is over you need a place to store them. If you broke the box trying to open it then storage would probably be a major problem!

Overall I prefer the fake trees, this is only because they are the most practical. They are a slight let down in the fact they don't have that nice Christmas smell and of course don't look as good. But on the other hand they are a lot cheaper and last for years!
