Advantages: no more arguing over who is decorating the tree !!!!!!!

Disadvantages: none

We have only ever had a real christmas tree once and that was only after my hubby insisted. After collecting it and then having a car full of pine needles and a trail of them from the front door to the lounge he promised that the following year we would get an artificial one.

We have had the artificial one for 5 years now and have 3 young children. They were forever taking off all the decorations and arguing over who was putting them where.

This year my mum and dad bought a fibre optic tree and when my children and myself saw it we decided to get one too.

Our tree is 6ft and has a mulitude of different colours all changing from one to the other. It does not need any decorations on it at all, so this year we have had no arguing from the children over where the decorations were going to be put.

Fibre optic trees come in all different sizes and prices. Depending on where you buy your tree they can cost anything up to £160:00. We bought ours in a small shop in our town for £32:99. It came in a strong box in which the tree can be packed away until next year. We also got a couple of free bulbs with it.

My children and husband all love the tree, and my neighbours are really impressed with it to. In fact one neighbour has been out and bought one herself.

They really are very beautiful to look at.
