Advantages: if only it came true
Disadvantages: getting bathsalts for a gift
My christmas wishlist is a fantasy because we all dream about what we would like for christmas and what I want most is a bit out of the ordinary or just downright silly. I love christmas and all the fuss and bother and sometimes stress that goes with it. Every year I buy the gifts and wrap them as my hubby is the original scrooge bah humbug to him but i really don't mind as I love doing it all but sometimes gift ideas wouldn't go amiss as I run out of suggestions on what to buy for people his parents in particular but I love it all. In no particular order apart from the last the things I want most are: Number 1. A week at a health farm One of the highly luxurious ones that are highly overpriced but are the lap of luxuary I quite fancy being pampered and waited on for a week and maybe loosing a few pounds (or stone)at the same time. Just imagine all those massages on tap preferably by the young stud with the tight butt corrrrr!!! I would love to get away for a week with no tv no phones and no distractions just some good books and plenty of time to read them. To me this would be ideal as I've never been but would love to go but I simply can't afford it. It would be my idea of heaven to lie back and have all your worries taken away and maybe look great and definiately feel great at the end of the week. Number 2. Free shopping My first love after my family is shopping. I am a confessed shoppaholic and none of my friends can keep up with me wimps! I would think nothing of leaving the house at 9am and not returning home until after 6pm laden with bags tired with sore feet but I'm extremely happy. The only person who could keep up with me is my sister so I would take her with me to carry my bags if nothing else lol. On my return home I would find that my purchases were free and I could do it all again the next day. That is my idea of heaven just imagine being able to buy every book, cd an
d video that you have ever wanted not to forget that little designer suit you've had your eye on for the past few weeks. I would probably treat my kids as they grow to fast and never seem to have enough clothes. Number 3. No work for a year. If I could afford it I would love to take a year out to travel. I would love to see the whole world and I mean every country and every town even if it's a day trip just passing through. And also if you could shop free each day what's the point of wasting it by working all day when you could be out shopping. I would never be bored if I won the lottery and I can't understand people who go back to work after winning all those millions I scream I'll spend it for you and not be bored. Number 4. No housework for a year. You must think I'm lazy no housework or work but I'm not I just want a rest honest! I hate housework and will do anything to avoid it. Don't get me wrong I love having a lovely spotless home but I really can't see the point of spending hours ironing when you have to do it again the following week. I have tried everything to make it easier such as listening to music and dancing along but I still hate it so I would hire a mre mop cleaner for the year and sit back with my feet up in my nice clean home. Number 5. A house with a garden. I live up a close in a tenement as we say in Glasgow or a flat anywhere else in a *rough* housing scheme and my dream is for a house with a garden where the kids can play safely. I don't want anything huge or fancy just a nice garden and somewhere a bit nicer. Don't get me wrong I have lived in this scheme all my life but I want to live somewhere a bit better where my kids can play and I don't have to worry about there safety. I would love somewhere to sit in the summer to sunbathe and have a slide for the kids and maybe a swing too. Number 6. No hangovers. Bein
g a true Scot I love a good bucket but I hate having a hangover the next day such to the extent I don't drink much nowadays. None of us particuarly like having one but I hate putting my body through such torture and it's worse knowing that it is self inflicted. I used to drink quite heavily to the extent that I had alchohol poisioning when I was 23 nothing to be proud of I know but that was the level I reached. When my son was born it was bad enough getting up to feed and entertain him not to mention the dirty nappies that was bad enough but with a severe hangover it was worse so I gave up the drink. I would love to find the ultimate hangover cure or even an alchoholic drink that doesn't give you one so I can enjoy the occasional tipple now and again. Number 7. For it to snow on christmas day. I don't think christmas is the same without it snowing on christmas day I love it. Most of my happy childhood memories are of winter days going sledging or having snowball fights and I think there is something magical about opening the curtains in the moring and seeing the whole world covered in a blanket of snow. I love it being all crips and white and when it snows on christmas day I love running outside and being the first to walk in it. Number 8. health If you don't have your health you have nothing or as someonce told me a healthy person is a wealthy person I didn't understand that until I was older but now I do. Health is the most important thing you can have. My mother in law has brittle bones and some days she can hardly move and is in constant pain but there is nothing the doctors can do for her. My hubby has cronic athsma and can hardly breath sometimes and would love to swap lungs with a normal person just for a day to see what life is like not to struggle for a breath something that most of us take for granted. My wish would be for everyone to have good health. Number 9. A cara
van Seeing as this is my wishlist I would like a top of the range luxuary one with no expense spared. My hubby and both of my son's have really fair skin to the extent they fry in the slightest heatwave with a high factor suncream on so we could never holiday abroad. We will probably spend the next 16 years holidaying in the UK so I would like to do it in luxuary. I would also like it to be moved to different sites every year as I wouldn't like it to be in the same place as we would soon get fed up with the same site every year. Number 10 My friends to make up. I have two best friends Linda whom I have known since I was five and Sharron whom I have known since I was eleven. We used to do everything together from going abroad on holiday to getting drunk and snogging guys at the weekend until six years ago when they had a silly argument and fell out over it. It was so trivial that none of us can remember what it was about now. I have tried many times to get them to meet up and talk about it but one of them always chickens out at the last minute. I just want my two best friends to kiss and make up so we can all go out together again and paint the town red. Sometimes it is a bit awkward when I am on the phone speaking to one and the other phones my mobile. I thought I had a breakthrough when Linda's dad died and Sharron sent her a sympathy card and when Sharron gave birth to a baby boy in August Linda was one of the first to congratulate her by sending a card but nothing more came of it. They are both to stubborn to make the first move and now say that it is too late as too many years have passed but it hasn't I want them to be friends again so we can have loads of fun like we used too. I know some of my wishes are impossible and some are downright silly but if I can't have any of these then some vouchers for Next or a bottle of amirage perfume would't go wrong. I would lik
e to wish all my friends a very merry christmas in advance and hopefully santa will be good to you.
