Advantages: excellent web site, ease of use, money back guarantee

Disadvantages: none, none, none

I have been gardening for 45 years and have come accross the perfect garden center called BAKKER. web site www.bakker.co.uk I have recieved their catalogues via snail mail over the years & have orderd plants from time to time & my last order was a year ago. for 3 types of lilies 2types failed they just seemed too weak, so i found that they had a web site this was a year after planting them.
So i told them via an email,i couldnt remember my customer account number & that the plants had failed, they returned my money within 2 days with a letter of apology.
Now that kind of service means i shall definatly be reordering because they have given me the confidence to do so..
Their web site is great i hope they go from strength to strength. Were so quick to complain its so nice to give a company a pat on the back... Well Done

Good op. I like Bakker - good quality and good service. They used to send us regular gifts as well, when we bought from them frequently. Now we have moved to a house with a very water-logged garden and we can't get much to grow, so we don't buy plants now.

Yes i did read about Crocus & find their site very good, but so far they havnt stocked what i wanted im looking at www.gardeningdirect.com looks good, but thier catalogue which you can order online is better they have discounts in it like £3 off yet the prices are the same as online & there is no postage either...got to be worth a try

I will be visiting this website.
I ordered some perennials and ground cover plants from Bakker some years back and remember being disappointed with the quality and the size of the plants delivered. I didn't bother to complain but most went on to do well though. It has put me off ordering from them again although I occasionally get sent through their catalogue. More recently I have ordered from Crocus.co.uk (I think you read my comment on Crocus) and found the delivery to be top quality.
