Advantages: Cheap to replace????

Disadvantages: Short life

What is the best way to hang out your washing?

I bought a rotary line from Argos and within a few weeks I had to take it back as the cord became very floppy after only a couple of loads. The replacement one didn't stay open and kept sliding back down the pole once I put the washing on it.

I then thought ok I'll try the straight cord and attach it across the garden, this was lot better but 6 months down the line it's starting to fray.

Is it me, do we have an extra heavy load of washing or are these things made of cheap materials such as sewing cotton?

What is the best way to do this?

I've bought a tumble drier for winter use, it might save on the wear and tear.
