Advantages: none

Disadvantages: there's one on my house

Since moving into our house 3 years ago this month, we have had a problem with the boiler every winter. We have replaced the circuit boards (£150 + labour) and the ignition electrode. Ive lost count of the money we have spent on it and it still doesn't work. Our experienced plumber (he's had the misfortune to have worked of this model before) has spent the last 3 weeks trying to get the pig working, but to no avail. I have since found receipts from the previous tenants showing that they replaced the circuit board the month we moved in and had a history of it breaking down and needing other elements replaced - including another board and the ignition electrode. We've become used to not having heating or hot water for the odd winter month here and there. Its absolute rubbish and i will never use a Keston product again. We're cutting our losses and having a combi fitted. I only wish we had done this 3 years ago.

Summary: No amount of money and time has kept this dreadful boiler working.
