Liverpool City Council:
... a resident of Liverpool I m going to concentrate my review on their services with some observations of their website. Politics aside - Liverpool City Council have improved dramatically over the last number of years. A lot of this was happening even before the City was granted the status of Capital Culture but this also helped too. Liverpool has literally been rebuilt over the last few years, causing much inconve... Read the full review: Liverpool City Council by stebiz |

Neath & Port Talbot County Borough Council ... think that on the whole the Council are doing a pretty good job, the schools are okay, my rubbish and recycling get collected weekly, and everything seems to be running pretty smoothly. The new relief road should be good, though i think that something needs to be done to lift the community aspect of the community but also the general regeneration of the town. Whilst certain areas have received grants etc and all of that (especially houses in the areas close to the new roads that they have built so that people think its a nice area!), the general opinion of Port Talbot in particular is pretty poor, which is compounded by many shops which are empty in Station Rd, and the... Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Council ... ok I thought I would be the 1st to write a review of my local council. I have to say I am pretty happy with the council I think they are one of the better councils I have been under. We in Ellesmere port are part of the recycling scheme so we have a different bin collection each week one week refuge the next week pink bags with plastics, cans etc and cardboard with any garden waste also. When this was first introduced I was a bit sceptical to be honest I thought to much hassle sorting this and that out etc. But to be honest you get used to it and it just becomes second nature. I have to really praise Ellesmere Port council on this. I also praise them on the local... Read the full review: Decent Council yes believe it, it's true by Pistolpov |

Coventry City Council ... where I start..... Well my in-laws have been living in the same street and same house for 37 years, with there road being a CV1 they have permit parking where the council will send out a form for you to order your pass yearly for the cost of £20 (To park in your own street) They received there form in September and filled in with a cheque for £20 as requested as always every year, 3 Weeks on we are still waiting for the pass by which point they have received 4 parking tickets! We arranged meeting for them with the counsellor to discuss why all the other 34 houses with students living had received there passes and along with my in-laws one other resident of 54 ye...
