This is my opinion on Allerdale Borough and also the council. You may find it useful if you are considering to move to this area and want to know more about it. Situation/Introduction ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Allerdale Borough is situated in the North-West of England, inside the County of Cumbria. Parts of Allerdale are inside the national park, but the only big town in the national park is Keswick, which is a huge tourist destination. The borough runs mainly up the coast, starting up the top at Silloth and running down the coast line to Workington.
