Banners and Buttons on dooyoo in general

Newest Review: ... I appreciate the fact that Dooyoo recognizes the value of the registered users who write and rate and do not want the system to be slowed down by banners. However, banners remain one of the major source of revenues for companies like Dooyoo, unless I am wrong and they are now able to resell our content at a much higher price than what they may derive from advertisement. I think that a consumer site needs to accept that some advertisers may want to enter into partnership with us. Personally I would prefer to see us gaining a share of these revenues, and if this means waiting a bit more for the data to come up, let it be. We now get paid ... more

I was actually surprised when I recently read on the Community page of Dooyoo that banner are now banned. I understand this only applies to those of us who are logged in and I appreciate the fact that Dooyoo recognizes the value of the registered users who write and rate and do not want the system to be slowed down by banners. Premium Review What would Dooyoo be without banners? (246 words)

I am not against banners on Dooyoo because I believe this how they make at least part of their money and since I know that money do not grow on trees, if I want to get my nice reward, may be an Amazon voucher, somewhere these money have to come from. However, the other day i noticed that they have an advert from Vodafone which has sound attached to it, and i believe this was slowing a bit the whole website. Although connection to Dooyoo is good, and has become better and better, this is something they may want to take notice of. The other thing is that they seem to have not too many banners, because they are always the same popping up. And, talking ...  Read the complete review

Anyone remember him? He did the most enormous bottom burps dontchaknow. In any case, I've decided to write to any of you still interested in helping dooyoo. This is what I used to do, but I'm having a wee helping dooyoo strike just now so I'm not doing it just now. Perhaps I'll be doing it again next week when the site works, but who knows? Grin! Right. Get dooyoo some money so they can keep giving you money. That's what this is about. There's lots of advertising hereabouts and it's not all pay per view y'know. So, come the glorious day you ever feel like helping dooyoo again here's how to spend two minutes ...  Read the complete review

It's great isn't it? Eleven reads needed until I can claim a voucher, nothing springing to mind to write about, thank god for these wonderful and very useful 'dooyoo' categories. They gives us a chances to knocks up the quicks opinions that is usually guarantees to get quite a fews reads, whoopee. I mean, it's not as if Dooyoo even read them far less act on them, is it? If they did take them to heart they might realise how annoying things like pop-ups really are for their users, and they might do something about it, but they don't and they won't, so I guess this opinion will be of no real use except to get me those eleven reads. ...  Read the complete review

Isn't it amazing how you write what you feel about on a certain product and as if by magic you have a few quid in your dooyoo account? Well it might seem like magic but its not. What it is a clever way of shifting funds raised by certain popular techniques. You see, for each banner you click on dooyoo get around 1-10p depending on the affiliated partner. It might be advisable to give the sponsors a few clicks now and then especially when you consider the apparent fact that dooyoo used to pay 25p per read. Since dooyoo has around 250 thousand unique users per month and 180,000 registered members these pay reductions and heavy use of adverts are an obvious way ...  Read the complete review
