Advantages: They generate money

Disadvantages: If I close a pop up, do nto bang it back to me again!

I am not against banners on Dooyoo because I believe this how they make at least part of their money and since I know that money do not grow on trees, if I want to get my nice reward, may be an Amazon voucher, somewhere these money have to come from.

However, the other day i noticed that they have an advert from Vodafone which has sound attached to it, and i believe this was slowing a bit the whole website. Although connection to Dooyoo is good, and has become better and better, this is something they may want to take notice of.

The other thing is that they seem to have not too many banners, because they are always the same popping up. And, talking about pop ups, I see their logic in trying to force us to see an advert., but if I close it 3 times, may be this means that I am not interested. What is the point in having it again, purely to be there? I will ignore it. Or, amy be this is what I would like tot hink, but by leaving pop ups there I will end up watching it and being influenced. I do not know.

Talking about influence, the other day i got down with flue and hay fever. Not that this is too relevant, but may be we should have more banners on chemistry products which make miracles. Just an idea.

Don't close the pop-up, just minimise it to the Task Bar. That way another copy won't keep popping up. You can just close them at the end of your session. You can also get pop-up blockers but some websites won't allow you to surf them if you use one. Don't know if Dooyoo is one of those.

I've never bothered installing a blocker although it is advised what with the problems that Internet Explorer is suffering at the moment. Pop-ups on some websites run Java scripts to divert your dialler to premium rate (090 number) ISPs without you realising and you get stuck with a phone bill for hundreds of pounds.

Very true. Been away from Dooyoo for some months as have found the whole site impossibly slow. Now on broadband and it is just about useable. I may be able to start contributing again.
