I have been a resident in the town of Witham for just over 2 years now. Witham falls within the catchment area of Braintree District council. Braintree town is only 7 miles away. Although 2 years is not very long to draw a long term conclusion on a district, having lived there under only one governmental term, it has given me enough information for one lifetime, let me tell you. I have 2 axes to grind with the council. One of these could be easily rectified and the other one that may be a social problem over the length and bredth of th ecountry.
