Isn't this all getting a bit too insular. Opinions about things (TV, film, products etc) seems all perfectly valid - We all like to check if our opinion is in line with some other people - it's called validation isn't it. If they agree with us, we automatically like them. If they don't, well they're just mis-informed aren't they ?
Even comments about the web-site and service etc seems reasonable. But when we start making comments on individual banners ... they're just banners ....to advertise things so that we don't have to pay (indeed can be paid) for a service. What do I think about them - a necessary evil I suppose. I can take them or leave them.
But what about all that white space between the text and the banners - you know it just sits there in its sheer whiteness. I love it!
