Advantages: normally out of the way, dooyoo gets money, I get money

Disadvantages: They annoy some people

Having been on the internet for a long time now, I have to say it is so rare that I click on a banner, its a wonder that dooyoo get paid anything to have them there.
My opinion on banners in dooyoo is as follows: i don't mind them, I never use them, It's great they give dooyoo money.

Firstly, I understand that, as with most sites, banners have to be there as a revenue source. I don't mind them being there because I hardly notice them and they load speedily enough not to impair my viewing of the dooyoo site. As I never actually click on them, this is of slight concern as it may mean that most of the rest of the community doesn't either, meaning dooyoo earn less. However, dooyoo must be earning something from them or they wouldn't be there. This is of course good news all round as it means dooyoo earns money, which means we, the writers also get paid (even if the rate has just gone down). So overall I think the banners are good for dooyoo and for the community so, even if there are occasionally pop-up ads that appear, we shouldn't grumble. After all they are paying us, and in this world money rules.
