Well, that's the wax out of my ears!

I went in to search for a category today and suddenly.... KABOOOOOOM KACHIIING and several plumes of smoke later I am told that I could win loads of wonga. I'd had a pretty tiring day at work and the prospect of never doing it again sounded super.

I clicked it entered all my details and after realising it was a health insurance company running it (small print on final page of submission) I await a shipment of junk mail any minute.

Annoying enough as that is ---


KABOOOOOOOOM, KACHINNNNNNNNNG - I went back to Dooyoo and guess what - lucky old me, I get another 250,000 thrust in my face (virtually of course!).

I'm not sure what's more irritating, Pops or Kabooms. I never begrudged Rice Krispies for poping and fizzing but having my spare room sound like the opening scene of Private Ryan is something it'll take a while to get used to.

It's a very clever little ad and it got me hook line and sinker. Next time though I'd like it to KABBOOOOOM OFF when I've given away my address!

Here's to more comedy sound effects - maybe different ones in each section but just the once - there's only so many times I can fall off my chair in shock - next time the chair will be through the monitor!
