Advantages: Good collection, good parking, good council

Disadvantages: call centre can be busy sometimes and takes 10 minutes plus to answer

Well ok I thought I would be the 1st to write a review of my local council.

I have to say I am pretty happy with the council I think they are one of the better councils I have been under.

We in Ellesmere port are part of the recycling scheme so we have a different bin collection each week one week refuge the next week pink bags with plastics, cans etc and cardboard with any garden waste also.

When this was first introduced I was a bit sceptical to be honest I thought to much hassle sorting this and that out etc. But to be honest you get used to it and it just becomes second nature.

I have to really praise Ellesmere Port council on this. I also praise them on the local resident parking scheme. This is a scheme were as you need to display a valid parking badge to be able to park in certain areas. This works well and I am always seeing council staff down our road issuing tickets to cars parked illegally.

All in all Ellesmere port have a decent council and one that we should be proud of as a community.

Summary: good council and one of the better i have had to deal with
