Premium Review Flying Flowers: Inconsistent quality all round (341 words)
by - written on 13/06/09 (Very useful, 13 readings)
Rating:

Flying Flowers sell flowers by post and by courier and you can order online, over the phone or via post. Their catalogues come monthly and i would recommend these as the best way to choose you bouquet as the photographs are much better than the ones online. If you order by post make sure you leave a couple of weeks or it's unlikely that they ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Dissapointing (159 words)
by - written on 09/12/06 (Useful, 69 readings)

I have used flying flowers a few times over the last few years and have always found them to be ok. Unfortunately the service seems to have gone downhill recently. I ordered some flowers for my mothers 78th birthday about a week in advance. On the expected delivery date, no flowers. When I telephoned there was no real sincere apology or offer of ...  Read the complete review

Flying Flowers: Dissapointing (161 words)
by tabes - written on 09/12/06

I have used flying flowers a number of times over the past few years and found them to be ok. Displays not stunning but reasonable value for money. My last encounter however made me review my flower buying policy. I ordered flowers for my mothers 78th birthday a week in advance, come the day no flowers. Spoke to FF who, to be fair answered the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tempted by the low prices... (659 words)

This year (2003) Flying Flowers seem to have really improved their profile, from advertising via leaflets in shops like SF Cody, to leaflets through peoples door, to partnerships with high profile websites, in the run up to mothers day their logo was everywhere. I had recently sent some flowers to a bereaved friend via Tesco.com, but ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Flying Flowers: All Good (100 words)
by - written on 01/05/01 (Useful, 25 readings)
Rating:

This service was very good and reliable and the website was easy to use, I thought it would be difficult but as I started to look at it more closely I could see that it was all self explanatory. Also the pricing was very reasonable and this is the sort of site that I would recomend to lots of my friedns. There isn't much left for me to say apart ...  Read the complete review

quite good (115 words)
by - written on 03/02/01
Rating:

The banner is quite good as it has a good subject. And that subject is flowers. When you think of flowers you think of happy thinks. Just like when you think of blue you think of cold and when you think of red you think of warm. Perhaps the buisness didn't think about the happy subject when they made the company but if i was making a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Flying Flowers: Simple yet effective (137 words)
by - written on 19/12/00 (Useful, 27 readings)
Rating:

I like this banner. It isn't animated, not in Java, no flashy effects, no monkey. But who needs that? The banner is simple, stylish, and it tells you just about everything you need to know at that point. The reddy-orange background feels all warm and Christmassy, and the snowflakes add to that mood. The message 'Merry Christmas ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nice looking banner... shows the point (131 words)
by - written on 18/12/00 (Useful, 14 readings)
Rating:

I think the banner is quite good however it lacks a reasonable display of the type of product offered from the service. Many people have said how good the servce is and that they have been pleased with the service so it is good that dooyoo is promoting reasonable serices on it s site. Although I have no knowledge that they have researched the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Flying Flowers: What Banner? (106 words)
by - written on 18/12/00 (Very useful, 21 readings)
Rating:

It did nothing for me, I only noticed the banner when I read what you had wrote underneath. I think they should go back to basics, they sell flowers not baubles. I know the festive season is upon us, but after a while one bauble looks pretty much like another and not eyecatching anymore. I think this banner would have caught my eye if it ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review keep the flowers flying (114 words)
by - written on 17/12/00 (Useful, 2 readings)
Rating:

the banner- it's alright i guess, i mean it's not going to change the world is it? flower delivery's not going to become the new rock n roll or the new black just because of this banner. but as adverts for flower delivery services go it's ok, has a nice seasonal feel, tells you upfront about the price....what else could you ask ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Flying Flowers (87 words)

The flying flowers advert banner doesn't exactly fly off the screen does it ? The only reason my attention was brought to it was the fact your "give your opinion" message was flashing just below it . I may not be in the market for the product (don't tell the wife) but even so the only way to describe this is DULL. I ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Flowery for some... (80 words)
by - written on 16/12/00 (Useful, 4 readings)
Rating:

The flying flowers banner is one of the most sickly sentimental banners i have seen so far this christmas. Christmas brings out the worst banners on the net although the offer shown on this banner was at least interesting. I don't think this banner would entice me to visit flying flowers purely because, although I liked the offer, it ...  Read the complete review

Flying Flowers: Alright I guess (144 words)
by - written on 16/12/00
Rating:

This banner isn't bad at all despite the fact that I have no intention whatsoever on clicking on it as I am not part of the intended target audience and ultimately have no interest in purchasing a bouquet of flowers for £8.99. However, I am sure there are people who will be wanting, or subconciously wanting to buy some, and will click ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Basic but good (104 words)
by - written on 16/12/00 (Useful, 3 readings)
Rating:

This ad is very basic and you can tell that the money you spend is not paying for expensive adverts. Very reasonable priced flowers from a company so unheard of. I would use this link if I was looking for this sort of thing but if I was just flicking through pages it would not jump out at me enough to use it. Maybe slightly jazzy would be better ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Flying Flowers: Such a lot to offer! (149 words)
by - written on 16/12/00 (Very useful, 56 readings)
Rating:

Flying Flowers is an excellent service. I've used them lots of times and been very pleased with my order. It's such a shame that they don't take full advantage of their banner on Dooyoo and promote their name properly. The banner says 'flowers' and it also says 'inexpensive' but it doesn't tell you the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Flying Flowers: Who is this? (122 words)
by - written on 15/12/00 (Useful, 3 readings)
Rating:

Not bad for a banner ad, but then it's a BANNER ad, which immediately makes it one of the most despised and loathed things on the web. Necessary evil or not.. Having said that, the only problem with this banner ad in particular is that the company name is written so small and in black that it's really hard to tell who the company name ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Flying Flower Power (91 words)
by - written on 15/12/00 (Very useful, 73 readings)
Rating:

This banner gets the point across well and is nice and simple. With many banners it is quite hard to tell what they are trying to advertise but this one is very clear. It is nice that they show you the flowers that can be sent so you know what you are ordering rather than just buying blind. The writing is clear and bold and tells you the price ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Flying Flowers: Bland banners (142 words)
by - written on 15/12/00 (Useful, 12 readings)
Rating:

This is not something I usually have an opinion about, but with having seen so many whilst out there surfing I have come the conclusion that the people who design a lot of these do not really have much taste. Where as some can be all flashing icons and horrid colours, you then get others like this one that is pretty bland. Yes, it is straight ...  Read the complete review

At last!A site that pomises fresh flowers from Jersey at a reasonable price! An eye-catching banner lured me in and I'm glad.I used to buy flowers through the post from that well known high street store(that caters for the larger women!)but have been very disappointed lately with the low quality, short life flowers arriving in a boring brown box ...  Read the complete review
