I used to live in Kirklees, and when I visited their website then it was a pitiful disgrace. But not now. They seem to have taken the internet seriously, and have added a whole host of information on there - from news and events to visitor information and even forms to fill in. And, let me tell you, there's nothing worse in this world than trying to extract a form - for whatever - out of Kirklees Council. The "Your Council" section seems most useful. Every area of the council is listed on there - from the people to complain to if there's too much noise coming from your neighbours ("Noise and Other Nuisances") to people to ask ...
