Lloyds TSB bannerNewest Review: ... your bank based on their ads would be foolish but with a well presented bank like this I would probably be a bit tempted. My problem is that it is such a terrible bank to use. I've been with TSB for about 10 years, give or take, and they were fine until I got to Uni. The can give away all sorts of freebies but will soon ask for a fortune when it comes to overdrafts and credit cards. Overall I loved the service to begin with, they were my first bank account after the "Little saver" types I had set up for me as a kid and they were something a little special. Not anymore, too expensive by far and it's just about impossible to get on to C... more |

The ads are well presented, easy to see and with a good enough site behind them. To be honest, if I was not with Lloyds TSB I would be tempted by these ads. They do give a fair bit of information, interest rates with flashing pop-up pictures and readilly changing infor bursts. This banner is one of the worst I have ever seen it's really slow and it makes them out to look like a bunch of ego centred morons. Take a company like egg that has funny and inviting ads and compare them with Lloyds TSB and you can start to begin to see exactly what I mean. Lloyds ads are typically very naff and this just reinforces my hate towards them. I have been their customer for 7 years and I've had enough of their stupid silly long winded forms and old fashion ways. ... Read the complete review

So, weve all seen the snappy little ads on the TV for Lloyds, but have you actually taken them in? Particularly the one about a Personal Review? Basically it says that if you book a free, personal review, they promise to say you £50 in charges, by switching from a nother bank(/s) to Lloyds, OR THEY WILL GIVE YOU £50. I went in and had a review. They couldn't save me £50, so they said they'd give me £50. Less than a week later, and I now have £50 in my pocket curtessy of Lloyds TSB Bank. Just pop into your local branch. There are basically no terms or conditions, appart that you are already a customer of Lloyds / TSB and another ... Read the complete review

I think that this banner is good. I am very surprised that there hasn't been anyone elses opinion put on except for one person. It is quite a funny banner as the other persons opinion said. The only bad thing is that it is said that jobs are going to be cut by Lloyds TSB. I think that more advertisers should make banners like this because it made me laugh. As soon as it comes up on the page it makes you look at it. If only there were more banners like this ... Read the complete review
