no matter what has happened to you the council couldnt care less. they are the most rude people i know sometimes they just come across as heartless. our kitchen roof is cracked right down the middle and falling apart with water from the bathroom leaking right through it. so we rang the council who told us its not an emergency and to put up with it until they renovate in 10 yrs. well thenext problem was a burst valve in the water tank that lead to water gushing out the side of the house well of course they told us its not an emergency because the water is outside we need to wait a week for an appointment. so only slightly mad at this point. so now the ...  Read the complete review

The thought of a visit to the Manchester City Council’s website almost landed me with a nervous twitch and a stress rash – afterall these are the usual reactions I have when dealing with Manchester City Council. As a council tenant – living in one of revamped areas that the Council bill and coo about, I have had more than a gutful of them. I have found that the general attitude of the Council mostly seems to be one of “Let’s make sure that we LOOK good. Don’t let anyone see that stuff over there! Quick hide it – someone is filming!
